Founded in 1890, the University of Chicago is a private research university located in Chicago, the third most populous city in the United States. UChicago has a remarkable distinction of producing 92 Nobel laureates, the largest number affiliated with any American university. The University of Chicago offers over 52 undergraduate majors and more than 41 minors.
