Touro College in New York is a part of the Touro College and University System (TCUS), America's biggest not-profit driven autonomous organization of higher and professional education under Jewish auspices. Headquartered in New York City, TCUS began with the opening of Touro College in New York in 1971. Touro was established basically to enhance the Jewish legacy and to serve the larger American and worldwide network. Today around 19,200 students are selected at its schools and divisions, which incorporate 30 campuses and locations in New York, California, Nevada, Illinois, Berlin, Jerusalem, and Moscow. In New York, Touro gives diverse, innovative and engaging courses in a scope of fields - from medication, dentistry and pharmacy to law, business, education, social work, and allied health.
