Application & Tuition Fees


Is there any application fee?


The application fee for undergraduate and graduate international students is USD 75. It is a non-refundable application fee. Students can process the payment using a credit card, bank money orders, personal checks, etc. Students can request a fee waiver if they need financial help.

Part Time Work While Studying


Can I work while studying here?


The students can work on and off-campus in the university—the on-campus opportunities in the university help provide the students hands-on experience in their relevant fields. Students must have an F-1 or J-1 visa for campus employment. The maximum on-campus work limit is 20 hours. During school vacations, students can work full-time. Students can check Human Resources, UCM Dining & Catering Services, and Graduate Assistantships webpage for work employment.

Students can work in the JCKL Library, UCM dining facilities, Students Recreation & Wellness Center, Elliot Student Union, and administrative offices.

Internship: The Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies provides internships to the students for work-study employment. It allows students to secure an instant placement after completing the degree. It also gives a chance for students to evaluate their potential and skills. Students can contact Harmon College Internship Office for internship availability and new vacancies.

Working Off-Campus:

How many colleges and campuses does the university have?


The University of Central Missouri has two campuses located at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The campuses are:

Central Missouri Campuses

The UCM has four colleges, and each college has its schools. For example, the College of Education has School of Professional Education and Leadership and School of Teaching and Learning. There are a total of 16 such schools.

The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences consists of four schools, the college of Education includes two schools, and the College of Health, Science and Technology has six schools. The Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies has four schools.


Is on-campus housing available? How much does it cost?


The UCM offers several on and off-campus housing accommodation facilities. It includes over 8 residence halls and campus locations in the university. The residence halls include Ellis Complex, Fitzgerald Hall, Houts / Hosey Halls, Nattinger / Bradshaw Halls, Nickerson Hall, South Todd Hall, South Yeater Hall, and UCC.

It further includes rooms with queen or single beds, en-suite or standard room, wi-fi facility, internet connection, shared kitchen, common areas, laundry, wellbeing team support, on-call emergency staff, limited premium bedrooms, furniture, etc. Students will have to pay USD 100-300 for booking a room.
