- The mission of the University of New Haven’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is to prepare healthcare professionals who prevent disease, promote health, and protect the well-being of the public through education, practice, research, and service.
- The core curriculum of the MPH program provides a broad foundation in key areas including epidemiology, biostatistics, social and behavioral sciences, healthcare administration, and environmental health, along with more advanced coursework focusing on the range of issues relevant to the public health.
- The MPH program is one of the first in the country to be STEM-designated by the federal government, which enables international graduates to remain in the United States for an additional 24 months after graduation to receive training through work experience.
