The University of Tennessee is a multi-campus university with campuses in 4 different locations namely, the Knoxville, Martin, the Health Science Centre and Chattanooga. Each campus has its unique characteristics and facilities. The Knoxville campus provides secure on-campus residency and dining halls. The Martin campus offers more than 97 programmes and is home to over 150 student organizations. The Health and Science Centre, founded in the year 1911, offers research and education opportunities to the students. The Chattanooga campus is home to 101 majors and 120 student organizations. This campus provides on-campus accommodations to the students. UT is composed of 11 colleges that offer more than 360 undergraduate and 530 postgraduate degrees as well as 300 study abroad programmes.
