  • Student must have completed 4-year bachelor degree or equivalent; 3-year bachelor degree or equivalent followed by completed master degree; 3-year bachelor degree followed by certain postgraduate diplomas that are either AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved; these postgrad diplomas are all evaluated individually
  • A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours (approximately two years of work) or a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required
  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution is required. International applicants must have a degree comparable to a regionally accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree
  • Most applicants have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Students with a Bachelor of Science in other engineering or physical and natural science disciplines will be considered for admission
  • The Department of Mechanical Engineering prefers a 3.2/4.0 GPA
