The university comprises of 10 schools that reside on a park-like campus of Nashville. The campus of the university is spread over a land of 334 acres. It consists of 178 buildings including the administrative and department buildings. Vanderbilt University offers an immersive learning environment by providing undergraduate, graduate and professional programs in the engineering, liberal arts and sciences, education, music, and human development. It has produced over 1,39,000 alumni and some of the Nobel Laureates from the faculty and alumni include Al Gore Jr., Muhammad Yunus, and Stanley Cohen. Also, Lamar Alexander (U.S. Senator), Ann S. Moore (former Chairman and CEO of Time Inc.), Emily White (former COO of Snapchat) and Richard Weaver (famed political philosopher).
